₹6,000 a year for your family
Farmers' Corner
Everything the PM-KISAN site lets you do. Each one opens a working sample.
The families it's for
Landholding farmer families in every state, whatever the size of their land. Fields from across India.
Are you covered?
Answer a few yes or no questions about your family. Family here means husband, wife and minor children.
From the scheme's rules in the PM-KISAN FAQ. Your state checks every registration and makes the final call.
Why a payment gets held
Once the problem is fixed, every instalment due to you is paid, unless your family falls under an exclusion.
Do eKYC with an Aadhaar OTP here, or with biometrics at a CSC or in the PM-KISAN app.
The money goes by DBT only to a bank account linked with your Aadhaar. Ask your bank to seed your Aadhaar to the account.
How to seed Aadhaar to your account
Go to your bank branch with your Aadhaar card and passbook. Ask to seed your Aadhaar to the account for DBT and sign the bank's consent form. Some banks also let you do it in net banking or the bank app.
Edit your name to match your Aadhaar card with Edit Aadhaar details in the Farmers' Corner. It updates once Aadhaar confirms it.
Eligibility follows the land records on that date. Land that came to you later counts if you inherited it after the owner's death. Your state checks the record before it pays.
A family gets one benefit. If husband and wife, or an adult and a minor child, are both getting it, payments are held until a physical check is done.
